Portable Appliance Testing & Management Requirements for the Maintenance (C&G, 2377-22 & 2377-32)

Electricians, Electrical Contractors, Domestic Installers and others who need to Inspect and Test electrical equipment.

Delegates must be over 18 years of age.

The aim of this qualification is to enable delegates to undertake practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

This qualification specifically addresses the requirements of the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. This 3-day course also includes the 2377-32 qualification (Management Requirements for the maintenence of Electrical Equipment)

• The statutory and non-statutory requirements relevant to the management of electrical equipment maintenance
• The electrical units of measurement associated with in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• How equipment construction and classification reduces the risk of electric shock
• The procedures for the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• How to carry out combined inspection and testing
• The information contained in documentation in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment
• Management requirements for the maintenence of electrical equipment
