Rod Trippier

I have attended many, many training courses in my time; presenters can be appalling, good, mediocre, or superb. Please convey my thanks to Mark, because he is in the superb bracket, a master in fact – one of the best.

Knowledge, experience, content, dedication, interest, humour, pace, delivery, reinforcement, participation; all excellent.

Mark was committed, and in consequence we were committed. I know from past experience, designing/delivering various courses to industry, that it is hard work presenting at that level, and it requires a lot of preparation and time setting up materials and props to keep delegates interested.

The subject matter was gripping, and I have a duty to myself, and to Mark, to continue with my CPD to ensure that I hone my First Aid skills, ensuring I perform at the top of my game.

I learned a long time ago that there is no such thing as an accident, and that somewhere in the chain of events lies a human act. So, it’s been a life changing experience for me, realising just how vulnerable we are, and that the difference between being safe and an IP is down to our behaviour and that of others. Having said that, it’s comforting to know that there are dedicated people out there who will help us pick up the pieces; and now I’m one of them – thanks Mark for opening my eyes.

I cannot say enough about my whole experience during the past three days; venue excellent, facilities excellent, lecture room excellent, course content/delivery excellent, and food more than adequate.

To summarise, brilliant, just brilliant – a real pleasure to work with Mark, I hope we meet again.
